Aleph is a research firm working at the intersection of development, humanitarian aid and cultural heritage.
What we do
We conduct research and evaluations to strengthen the impact of development programmes in fragile countries and emerging economies. We focus on cultural heritage, aid effectiveness, social cohesion and market development.
Our services
Monitoring and Evaluation
This is our bread and butter. We have developed the Aleph Impact Index - our proprietary evaluation toolkit - to benchmark performance from outputs to outcomes and impact.
Strategy Design
We conduct feasibility and market-scoping studies to identify humanitarian and development needs. We facilitate inclusive design processes to build strategies and design programmes.
Implementation
We conduct mapping and documentation of cultural heritage, focussing in particular on fragile and conflict affected countries.
